RECIPES FROM THE SOUTH AMBOY PRES. MTG.

Recipe for Chicken & Artichokes

Ingredients:

4-6 boneless chicken breasts

Artichokes packed in oil

Sun dried tomatoes packed in oil

Garlic to taste

1 tbsp. oil

Put oil in skillet, test skillet until hot. Sauté chicken on both sides until lightly golden on both sides (not necessary to cook through) Then cut them into large pieces and put into baking dish. Pour artichokes and sun dried tomatoes over and add herbs and spices of your choice and bake at 350° for 35 minutes. Serve over pasta or rice.

Recipe Angel Food Cake

(no fat - no cholesterol)

Ingredients:

1- package angel food cake mix

1- can crushed pineapple undrained

Mix together well in large bowl and pour into 9 x 13 glass or metal cake pan.  Bake at 350° for 35-35 minutes let it brown fully well on top as it’s better to over bake than under bake.
