Administration Division Steering Committee
Meets at 7:30 p.m. on the fourth Tuesday at the Presbytery Center, except during months Presbytery meets (February, May, September, November)
The Administrative Division Steering Committee provides the oversight and management of funds and personnel. Coordinates the work of the Audit Committee, Budget Committee, Committee on Representation, Personnel Committee and the Trustees. Membership includes: 3 elected members (a chair, vice-chair and secretary) in classes, chairs of the Standing Committees and Communications Team.
Bills & Overtures Committee
This committee is made up of three elected members who serve a three year term as well as the current commissioners to the General Assembly who serve for a one year term following the General Assembly.
Committee on Ministry
Meets on the first Tuesday, 7:30 p.m. at the Presbytery Center
The Committee on Ministry (COM)works with churches to recruit, install, and support leadership, including ministers and elders. In addition, COM works with churches to promote peace and harmony and in many cases will be the first resource called on when difficulty arises in the church.
Committee on Preparation for Ministry
Meets on the first Tuesday, 3:00 p.m. at the Presbytery Center
Provides for the care and support of Inquirers and Candidates preparing for the Ministry of Word and Sacrament. Membership consists of twelve elders and ministers in three classes of three-year terms.
Committee on Representation
The Committee on Representation advises the Presbytery about fair and effective representation in the elected membership divisions, ministries, and committees. Membership composed of 6 members divided by classes.
Communications Team
Meets on the second Wednesday, 10:30 a.m. – 12:00 noon, at the Presbytery Center
Communications Team
The Communications Team’s focus is on providing communication between the presbytery and other governing bodies, between our congregations, and to the general public.

Congregational Development and Strategies
Meets on the first Thursday, 9:30 a.m. at the Presbytery Center
This Committee ministers to congregations, encouraging and supporting them as they seek to grow in vitality and become more authentic communities of faith, and carry out their mission. It also supports specific new church developments, including fund raising efforts.
Cuba Partnership
The Cuba Partnership is a formal relationship between Monmouth Presbytery, PCUSA, and the El Centro Presbytery, IRPC (Iglesia Reformada Presbiteriana en Cuba). While this association began under the aegis of the Presbyterian Churches in both Cuba and the United States, neither partner seeks to limit participation solely to the Presbyterian denomination; therefore, all are welcome to join with us in the important work which these pages will describe.
Educational Ministries
Meets on the second Tuesday of September, November, January, March and May, 11:30 a.m. at the Presbytery Center
Oversees, facilitates, and implements leadership development initiatives for the Presbytery by providing Leadership and Christian Education training events.
Ministries Division
Ministries Division Steering Committee

Provides programs, resources and services. Plans enrichment programs. Oversees and coordinates the Committee on Ministry and the Committee on Preparation for Ministry. Members include: 3 elected members (a chair, vice-chair and secretary) in classes, Chairs of Committee on Ministry, Committee on Preparation for Ministry, Communication Team Liaison, Congregational Development and Strategies Chair, Cuba Task Force Chair, Educational Ministries Chair, Mission and Stewardship Interpretation Chair, Presbyterian Women Representative, Worship and Spiritual Life Chair.
Mission
Meets on the first Thursday, 7:00 p.m., at the Presbytery Center.
This committee oversees, facilitates, and implements leadership development initiatives for the Presbytery by providing leadership training events and stewardship resources.
Mission Council
7:00 p.m. on second Thursday, at the Presbytery Center
This committee: Discerns and defines mission; ensures the planning, budgeting and evaluation function; oversees audit and reviews presbytery minutes.
Nominating Committee
Meets on the first Monday, 9:30 a.m. at the Presbytery Center
The Nominating Committee provides the Presbytery with slate of names for election to the committees, departments and units of Presbytery. They are committed to seeking a wide range of people from all parts of the Presbytery.

Members of this committee are nominated by the Council's Nominating Committee and elected by the Presbytery.

Permanent Judicial Commission
The Permanent Judicial Commission shall have seven members and will be activated to exercise authority as described in the Rules of Discipline of the Constitution of the Presbyterian Church. The Rules of Discipline are outlined under section D of the Book of Order.
Personnel Committee
Meets at the Presbytery Center as called
The Personnel Committee recruits, supports and evaluates appropriate staff for the Presbytery.
Sessional Records
Meets September 22, 29, & October 6, 2007, 10 a.m. - 12:00 noon at the Presbytery Center
The Committee on Sessional Records annually review the minutes of the sessions of the churches of the Presbytey of Monmouth. The results of their review are presented to the Presbytery for approval.
Trustees
9:30 a.m. on the first Wednesday at the Presbytery Center
Trustees for Camps & Conferences
The Trustees for Camps & Conferences are a non-profit board acting to carry out the vision of ministry for at Camp Johnsonburg.
